TRAIL RUNNING CLINIC FOR WOMEN
Thinking about ditchin' the bitumen for some trail time, but are nervous or unsure on how to get started on the trails?
Then come and join us for a morning of all things trail running with all those who identify as female!!
What you'll learn about:
You will be running on single track, fire trails, hills and stairs.
FITNESS: You'll be on your feet for 90 mins to 2 hours on a 7 km trail loop. You should be able to run for around 5 km/45 mins before signing up for this clinic. We will cater for all speeds, with lots of on trail stops for discussions and rest. Everyone will be looked after and no-one will be left behind.
PRICE: $150 per person
WHAT YOUR FEE COVERS:

- single track running technique
- tackling stairs confidently and efficiently
- up hill and down hill running technique
- the gear that you may need for hitting the trails
- safety whilst out in the bush - weather considerations, wildlife, fire awareness, and trail conditions
- trail etiquette and minimal impact adventuring
- basic map reading and use of gps watches and map apps
- hydration and nutrition
- Saturday 7th October 7 am - 10 am
- Sunday 8th October 7 am - 10 am
- Saturday 21st October 7 am - 10 am

WHAT YOUR FEE COVERS:
- Small group coaching session, with a maximum of 10 participants
- 3 hours of both on course and theory training
- Expert guidance provided by highly experienced female trail runners who are also accredited running coaches and First Aid certified
- National Parks and Wildlife park user fee. We are an accredited NPWS EcoPass licence holder with permission to conduct trail running activities in the Blue Mountains National Park.
- An on-course 'aid station' for drinks and snacks
- A free Serotonin Running buff
- Paper map of our course route for the morning
- Handout of clinic topics
- A safe and inclusive morning on the trails
- A complimentary tea/coffee/cold drink at The Conservation Hut Cafe, post run
