10 WEEK BEGINNER RUNNER PROGRAM FOR WOMEN -
               Starts on Tuesday 10th October 2023

          YOU CAN BECOME A RUNNER!


Our Beginner’s program is aimed at gently introducing you to running, in a fun and supportive environment. The program is based on a run-walk methodology and incorporates strength and conditioning into the weekly program. It runs for ten weeks, with the final goal having you running for 30 minutes without walking. We also aim to run at a local Parkrun for the final run of the program.  Check out Parkrun here - https://www.parkrun.com.au/ 

This program is for any female who is curious about running and wanting a new challenge.  It's also perfect for women who are returning to running after having some time away from the sport.  

                                       HOW IS THE PROGRAM DELIVERED?
  • Serotonin Running provides a 10 week program, delivered in weekly instalments via Final Surge coaching app.  The program has been designed by an Athletics Australia Level 2 Advanced Running Coach
  • Your coach is available to work with you to adjust the program to suit you, and provide you with the support that you need to reach your goals.
  • The program includes details on your running sessions, as well as mobility and strength sessions.
  •  The program comprises of three running and one strength session per week.
  •  The program package can be paid in full prior to commencing, or in fortnightly payments
  •  You will participate in one track session each week, where your coach will guide you on running technique, breathing, correct strength training, injury prevention, and post-run recovery.
  • You will also be part of a strong, supportive and motivating group of women who love to run! 
  • Cost - $40 per week/$400 total price for the 10 week program
  • The program can also be delivered as an online athlete if you are unable to attend sessions.
                                   
Track sessions are held at Tom Hunter Park, Hunter Way, Faulconbridge. 
Session times are - 
Tuesday 6 am and 6.30 pm
Thursday 6 am
